AFP: vacancy exists for digital verification reporter [Malaysia]

AFP is seeking a digital verification reporter to report on disinformation in Malaysia and be a part of AFP’s fast-growing fact-checking network.

Interested candidates should have strong digital investigation and precise writing skills in English and Malay, the ability to easily navigate online disinformation and demonstrate expertise in digital verification techniques and tools, and a good understanding of major social media platforms.

Candidates must also have excellent English and be fluent in Malay, while other regional languages such as Tamil would be an asset. Other media skills such as photography, video and graphics would be valuable.
