Journalists, academics and students from the Arab world can submit their papers.
Arab Media & Society, the biannual journal of the Kamal Adham Center for Television and Digital Journalism at the American University in Cairo, is seeking submissions for its next issue on media and the environment.
Possible topics include media and communication perspectives on climate change, coverage of climate change and conflict/civil war, analysis on media and pollution (water, plastics, air, etc.), reporting on water issues/crises, and public awareness of climate and environmental issues, among others.
Submissions can have up to 10,000 words and must conform to The Chicago Manual of Style.
The deadline for peer-review consideration is Aug. 1. All other submissions, including book and conference reviews, shorter research papers, and columns, should be received by Aug. 15.
