Crowdfunding program for journalists launched [Europe]

Teams of journalists who want to work together on a cross-border, collaborative story can apply.

In partnership with Free Press Unlimited, Free Press for Eastern Europe (FPEE), and the Prague Media School, Press Start has launched a crowdfunding program that will help fund 10 journalistic projects.

Successful teams will have crowdfunding campaigns for their stories launched on the Press Start website and receive a boost of up to EUR1,000 to help them reach their goal.

Journalists must apply in teams made up of two or more individuals from at least two of these countries: Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, Poland, Slovenia, Croatia, Czech Republic and Greece.

The deadline is May 20.
