Film Festival accepting entries [Central Asia]

Documentarians from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan or Tajikistan can apply.

The Qara Film Festival is accepting applications for the pitching session that will take place online on Aug. 27.

Documentary projects must be at the stage of development or production.

Before pitching, participants will attend workshops with documentary experts from Denmark and Russia.

The winners will receive prizes, including US$1,000 grant for project development, an opportunity to participate in a pitching session at Artdocfest/Riga film festival, travel grants for the Moscow Artdocfest festival, and accreditation at DOK Leipzig film festival in Germany.

The deadline is July 22.
