Freedom Forum Institute offers training for newsroom leaders and journalism professors [US]

News directors, reporters and journalism professors based in the United States can apply for free training on workplace integrity.

The Freedom Forum Institute is offering the Workplace Integrity Training program. Updated by the Power Shift Project, the goal of the Workplace Integrity curriculum is to produce workplaces free of harassment, discrimination and incivility, and filled with opportunity, especially for those who have traditionally been denied it.

The program includes the interactive Train the Trainers Workshop, which consists of two online webinars. The workshop will train newsroom and journalism classroom leaders to present the curriculum to their organizations.

Participants will receive the Workplace Integrity curriculum kit free of charge upon successful completion of the program.

The program will be held Sept. 29 to 30 and Nov. 16 to 17.

Applications are due Sept. 24 for the September program and Nov. 12 for the November program.
