Funds for environmental, election stories available [Brazil]

Journalists and journalism students across Brazil can apply for this micro grant.

Repórter Brasil, in partnership with Amazon Rainforest Journalism Fund and Pulitzer Center, is offering a BRL6,500 grant for an investigative story on the links between the elections and environmental issues.

The story must be based on data from Ruralômetro, a database and interactive tool that assesses the work of representatives regarding issues related to the environment, rural workers, native people and grassroots communities.

Application deadline is Aug. 29.
