The grants are designed to support in-depth investigative reporting and, ideally, cover topics pertaining to governance, anti-corruption, accountability, transparency, and rule of law.

Four grantees will receive US$3,200. They will also receive coaching and mentoring.

Interested applicants must submit a proposal and indicate where they plan to publish.

Independent news organizations are also eligible to apply.

The deadline is May 31.
