IJ4EU funds covers cross-border reporting [Europe]

News outlets, staff journalists and freelancers in Europe interested in pursuing investigative stories can apply for this grant.

The Investigative Journalism for Europe (IJ4EU) opened its second call for cross-border investigations in the European Union.

The Investigation Support Scheme will award up to EUR50,000 for investigative projects that involve at least one news outlet or staff journalist.

To be considered, teams must include members from at least two EU member states or or at least one EU member state and Britain. Teams working in all types of media will be considered and story pitches can be on any topic.

The deadline is Oct. 4.
