International trade training available for journalists [Asia]

Journalists based in Asia can apply for this fully-funded training program in Singapore.

The National Press Foundation (NPF) is offering a four-day journalism training workshop on all aspects of sustainable and mutually beneficial global trade, including economic growth, digital trade, U.S.-China trade friction and geopolitics, foreign direct investment, regulatory developments, environmental impact, and more. The training will be held July 24 to 28 in Singapore.

NPF offers this professional development opportunity for Asia-based journalists to enhance skills, increase knowledge and recharge their reporting on one of today’s most critical issues. The foundation will cover airfare, ground transportation, hotel costs and most meals.

All nationalities are welcome to apply. Applicants must agree to comply with Singapore’s COVID-19 and visa policies, which may change prior to the start of this program.

Apply by April 14.
