Journalists living in Mexico can submit their work to a contest.
The Walter Reuter Journalism Prize honors journalists who publish their work in the Mexican media. This year’s competition theme is ‘Made in Mexico’: challenges and opportunities in a changing global scenario,’ which aims to explore the effect of the relocation of production chains in economic, social, human rights, and environmental terms.”
Works must have been published or broadcast between July 31, 2022 and July 31, 2023.
The first place winner will receive a trip to Germany and MXN20,000 (US$1,136), plus a 10-week German course. The second and third place winners will receive MXN10,000 (US$548) and MXN5,000 (US$284), respectively.
The deadline is Aug. 1.
