Experienced investigative journalists based in the Amazon, Congo Basin and Southeast Asia regions can apply for this yearlong fellowship.
The Pulitzer Center has launched a reporting fellowship for its new Rainforest Investigations Network (RIN).
Fellows will work on individual and collaborative reporting projects focusing on the drivers of deforestation across the world’s three main tropical rainforest.
The fellowship will cover the reporter’s salary and provide support for the media outlet that employs the journalist (if on staff) or that agrees to host the fellow (if a freelancer).
The deadline is Dec. 15.
