Journalists from Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova, Ukraine, and Russia can apply for an eight-month fellowship.
Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty (RFE/RL) and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic are accepting applications for the 2020-2021 Vaclav Havel Journalism Fellowship.
The fellowship provides reporters from across Eastern Europe the opportunity to work six weeks at a local RFE/RL bureau and six months at RFE/RL’s headquarters in Prague, Czech Republic. The program will take place from Jan. 4 to July 30, 2021.
Fellows receive a living stipend, housing, insurance, and travel to and from Prague.
The deadline to apply is Aug. 11.
