Journalism fellowship, scholarship available [US]

American Indian, Alaskan Native, Native Hawaiian and First Nations college students pursuing media degrees can apply for these programs.

The Native American Journalists Association (NAJA) is accepting applications for the Native American Journalism Fellowship (NAJF) and Facebook Journalism Project Scholarship.

Journalism fellows will participate in an immersion newsroom during the 2022 National Native Media Conference Aug. 25 to 27 in Phoenix, Arizona and also receive personalized hands-on multimedia training, mentorship and networking opportunities.

The Facebook Journalism Project Scholarship will select students to receive US$10,000 each.

The deadline is April 30.
