Journalists who offer new perspectives on transatlantic policy debates and come from diverse communities are invited to apply.
The Transatlantic Media Fellowships, sponsored by the Heinrich Böll Foundation, give American and European journalists the opportunity to conduct research in the European Union (for American and Canadian journalists) and in the United States and Canada (for German journalists).
Fellows must complete their trip and research by Sept. 30. They must work on stories relevant to the foundation’s work on climate and energy policy, democracy and social policy or technology and digital policy.
The program will provide a US$3,500 stipend to cover all costs related to the project, including travel and accommodation or US$1,500 for a digital fellowship (virtual interviews, no travel).
The deadline is June 14.
