The Knight Center for Journalism in the Americas and LLILAS BENSON Latin American Studies and Collections at the University of Texas at Austin are organizing the virtual conference “Journalism in Times of Polarization and Disinformation in Latin America” on Nov. 9.
The activity will bring together journalists and academics from the region to discuss polarization, disinformation and the role of the press in defending democracy and freedom of expression.
Simultaneous interpretation to English, Spanish and Portuguese will be provided. A free certificate of participation will be available for those who register and attend most of the event.
