Media project supports journalists [Kyrgyzstan]

Journalists from the regions of Kyrgyzstan who are interested in being united and want to improve the quality of content in their regional media can participate in this competition.

”Media-К,” the Internews’ project in Kyrgyzstan, supported by USAID, announces the competition of initiatives for regional media and journalists. This competition is held as a part of the ”Media-K” five-year program to support regional journalism in Kyrgyz language.

The initiatives are aimed to establish platforms where seasoned and novice journalists can meet to exchange knowledge, to promote and support different initiatives for improvement of quality of journalism at the regional level.

Seven journalists from different regions who propose the best initiatives will receive scholarships and funding.

The deadline is Feb. 15.
