Mongabay seeks a full-time staff writer in order to expand its news coverage in Africa in both English and French.

The staff writer is responsible for producing news stories about conservation and environmental issues in Central Africa with the rest of the newsroom.

Candidates must be based in Africa and have three or more years of experience working in journalism, editorial or writing. They must be fluent (writing and speaking) in English and French.
