Undergraduate and graduate students studying journalism or a communications discipline can apply for a scholarship.
The National Association of Black Journalists (NABJ), in partnership with Cox Media Group (CMG), is accepting applications for the Jovita Moore Memorial Scholarship. The scholarship honors the late WSB-TV news anchor Jovita Moore.
CMG is supporting the scholarship fund with a US$25,000 investment to support three students, one of whom will be selected from Atlanta, Jovita’s hometown since 1996.
Applicants must be passionate about the field of journalism and prepared to extend Jovita Moore’s legacy.
Applicants must be members of NABJ and enrolled full-time at a college or university in the United States.
The deadline is Oct. 31.
