The Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication at Arizona State University, through the News Co/Lab project, has launched the Spanish version of its media literacy self-paced course “Mediactive: how to participate in the digital world”, which aims to help detect misinformation and expand media literacy.
Participants will learn how to detect misinformation, find reliable sources and statements and gain an understanding of how new media works. They will also have the opportunity to join live webinars with Mexican journalists and other experts discussing communication issues in Mexico and around the world.
