Norbert Zongo Prize focuses on investigative journalism [Africa]

Investigative journalists can compete for a prize.

The Norbert Zongo National Press Centre (CNP-NZ), in partnership with Cell Norbert Zongo for Investigative Journalism in West Africa (CENOZO) and Médias & Démocratie (M&D), is accepting applications for the Norbert Zongo Prize for Journalism.

The award recognizes the best work in investigative journalism in Africa. Categories include print, online, radio and television. Works must have been published or broadcast between May 3, 2019 and May 3, 2021.

The winners in each category will receive CFA1,000,000.

Submissions must be in French, English or Arabic.

The deadline is Sept. 15.
