A storey building, on Friday, collapsed along ATC road in Jalingo, the capital of Taraba State, killing one person.
Rescue operations, at the time of filing this report, are still ongoing at the scene of the collapse as trapped victims cry for help.
The Sector Commander, Federal Road Safety Corps, Selina Williams said two persons have so far been rescued,
He said doctors are currently battling to save the lives of the rescued victims who were immediately taken to the hospital.
Narrating the efforts so far put in place by the command to rescue victims and prevent hoodlums from taking advantage of the incident, Selina said ” on hearing the sad news, we immediately rushed down here to ensure the free flow of traffic.”
Some eyewitnesses who spoke to MOC correspondent said the timely intervention of the FRSC, reduced the number of casualties
