People in Need offers Film festival on human rights [Worldwide]

Filmmakers from all over the world can participate in this festival.

The One World International Human Rights Documentary Film Festival is organized by People in Need, a Czech nonprofit organization. The event will take place March 22 to April 2, 2023 in Prague.

There are seven categories: international competition, best director, Vaclav Havel jury award for a film that makes an exceptional contribution to the defense of human rights, Czech competition, audience award, student jury award, and a regional jury award. Films produced in 2021–2023 are accepted.

Films made in languages other than English should include English subtitles.

The entry fee ranges from free for certain countries to EUR20.

The deadline is Sept. 1. The deadline for films that were finished between September and November 2022 is Nov. 1.
