Photojournalism grants available [Worldwide]

Photojournalists and documentarians can enter this contest.

The Visa pour l’Image – Perpignan Festival, in partnership with Canon, recognizes the best visual journalism around the world Sept. 2 to 17 in Perpignan, France.

The festival is accepting entries for the following competitions: the Canon Female Photojournalist Grant, the Françoise Demulder Photography Grants, the Camille Lepage Award for a photojournalist, the ICRC Humanitarian Visa d’or Award – International Committee of the Red Cross, Visa d’or franceinfo: Award for the Best Digital News Story, and the Figaro Magazine Lifetime Achievement Visa d’or Award.

Winners receive EUR8,000 (US$8,540).

The deadline ranges from May 23 to April 30.
