Project covers citizen journalism, seeks applicants [Kazakhstan, Tajikistan]

Independent media organizations can apply for this project.

Internews organizes a Citizen Journalists project as a part of the MediaCAMP Central Asian Program.

The project will help media organizations from Kazakhstan and Tajikistan build networks of citizen journalists. It will support six media organizations from each country.

All participating organizations will receive funding that can be used to cover expenses connected to the project, including salary for citizen journalists and two project coordinators, as well as online mentorship for the network’s coordinators, and online trainings for citizen journalists.

The deadline is Dec. 14.
