Registration ongoing for journalism workshop [Guatemala]

Journalists, editors and others may apply for this training program in Spanish.

The Central American Journalism Forum, ForoCAP, organized by El Faro will take place in Nov. 3-5 in Antigua, Guatemala, and offers five journalism workshops.

Spanish photojournalist Javier Bauluz will give a workshop on photojournalism, conflict and migration. Journalist and cartoonist Joe Sacco will give a workshop on illustrated journalism. scar Martínez, editor-in-chief of El Faro, will give a training on violence coverage. Chilean reporter Monica Gonzalez will give a workshop on “Journalism for non-journalists”, and Eliezer Budasoff, from El Hilo, will give a workshop on podcasting.

Prices range from US$25 to US$175. Discounts are available for early birds.
