School of Peacemaking and Media Technology seeks interns [Central Asia]

Students who are close to graduation from Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan studying journalism and mass communication, law, cultural studies, and anthropology can apply to this program.

The School of Peacemaking and Media Technology in Central Asia is accepting applications for its annual internship program, which will run from Dec. 15, 2021 to Jan. 20, 2022.

The participants will participate in research and media monitoring projects. They will learn about new analytical tools, gain access to databases and conduct a series of studies.

The topics include pandemic and information manipulation, electoral processes, xenophobia and hate speech.

Due to the changing epidemiological situation, the program can be held in an online format.

The deadline is Dec. 5.
