Print and online journalism professionals, publishers and owners can be nominated for an award.
The South African National Editors Forum (SANEF) is calling for nominations for the 2022 Nat Nakasa Award for Media Integrity.
Nominees must have demonstrated integrity and reported fearlessly; displayed a commitment to serve the people of South Africa; tenaciously striven to maintain a publication or other medium despite insurmountable obstacles; resisted any censorship; and/or shown courage in making information available to the South African public.
The winner will receive ZAR20,000 and a certificate.
The winner will be announced at the Nat Nakasa Awards ceremony on Sept. 17 in Durban.
The deadline is July 31.
