Budding journalists interested in environmental issues can apply for a fellowship.
Grist, a nonprofit environmental media organization, offers six fellowships focused on environmental journalism starting March 1, 2023.
Applicants can apply for the environmental justice, Indigenous affairs, news and politics, food and agriculture, climate solutions, and data fellow positions.
Fellows work full time, writing stories on their respective areas. They can work remotely during the pandemic and choose Seattle, New York or remotely later.
The fellowship pays a US$50,000 salary. Fellows must make a 12-month commitment.
The deadline is Dec. 19.
