The International Documentary, Short and Animated Film Festival accepting entries [Worldwide]

Filmmakers from around the world can participate in this festival.

The International Documentary, Short and Animated Film Festival “Message to Man,” organized with support from the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation and the Russian Filmmakers’ Union, will take place Sept. 24 to Oct. 2 in St. Petersburg, Russia.

The festival is accepting documentary films (up to 120 minutes), short documentary (up to 40 minutes) and short animated films (up to 30 minutes).

Films must have been made after Jan. 1, 2019. Submissions in languages other than English should include English subtitles.

There is no entry fee in the national competition. The entry fee in the international and experimental competitions is EUR7 (US$8.37) for short films and EUR15 (US$17.93) for full-length films.

The grand prize winner of the international competition will be awarded US$3,000. There are several cash prizes of up to US$1,000 each.

The deadline is June 1.
