The International Women’s Media Foundation launches Mentorship Program [US]

Women journalists from underrepresented backgrounds can apply for this program.

The International Women’s Media Foundation (IWMF) organizes the Gwen Ifill Mentorship Program in honor of journalist Gwen Ifill.

The initiative aims to address the lack of diversity and women in leadership positions across newsrooms in the United States.

The nine-month mentorship will cover professional development topics including cultivating networks, negotiating salary, building a portfolio and applying for fellowships and grants.

The deadline is Nov. 15.
