The Monique-Fitz-Back Foundation focuses on youth environmental journalism [Canada]

Aspiring environmental journalists ages 12 to 17 in Quebec can apply for this program.

The Monique-Fitz-Back Foundation, in partnership with solutions-oriented media Unpointcinq, is organizing the Young Environmental Journalists Laboratory.

The program will enable secondary school students to learn about environmental solutions journalism for one year.

The selected candidates will produce at least two journalistic pieces on inspiring initiatives around climate change. They will also participate in the Youth Summit on Climate Change.

The deadline is May 3.
