European journalists, 30 and under, with cross-border reporting projects can apply.
Union Is Strength is a unique journalism scheme that aims to bring European journalists together and reward team work.
Matched in pairs, reporters will confront their points of views on initiatives in France and Europe that have received support from the European Union and produce articles to be published in three languages: French, English and any of the EU’s 24 official languages.
Twenty pairs composed of French and European reporters will be selected by a jury of journalists, including some from Slate.fr. Each pair will need to pitch two ideas for co-signed reports on an initiative developed in one of the two journalists’ country of origin.
The selected reporters will be paid up to EUR1,500 per pair.
The deadline is Dec. 20.
