University students in the Arab world can apply for this award.
The Arab Reporters for Investigative Journalism (ARIJ) is seeking applications for the university journalistic investigation production award.
Students can submit proposals for investigations on any topic or issue which has damage revealed for the first time, and the investigation can have an impact. Priority will be given to environmental and corruption issues.
The winner will receive an opportunity to carry out the investigation with editorial and legal supervision, financial support and an invitation to attend ARIJ’s 16th forum in Amman, Jordan.
Applicants must be undergraduate students in their third or fourth year at a university in the Arab world and be fluent in Arabic and English (or any second language).
The deadline for application is May 15.
