Vacancy exists at Global Press Journal for photo editor [Worldwide]

Photographers with at least five years’ experience in newsroom photo editing can apply for this remote position.

Global Press Journal (GPJ) is hiring a collaborative photo editor to work with its team of reporters around the world. GPJ is the award-winning news publication of Global Press.

The photo editor will review and edit photos and captions and partner with reporters to tell stories through photography. In addition, the photo editor will offer feedback and coaching on stories in progress and assign photo deadlines as needed.

Interested candidates should have advanced proficiency in photograph editing software, specifically Lightroom and Photo Mechanic. International experience and knowledge of multiple languages are a plus.

This contractual six-month position offers a US$24,000 compensation.
