Vacancy exists with Society of Professional Journalists for conference interns [US]

Journalism students can apply to cover this conference Oct. 27 to 30 in Washington.

The Society of Professional Journalists (SPJ) is looking for 10 interns for #MediaFest22, organized by SPJ.

Interns will report for The SPJ News, using a variety of digital approaches including video, social, audio, photos and written stories.

SPJ provides registration, accommodation, some meals, mentoring by professional journalists and networking venues. Interns must pay part of their own travel to and from Washington. SPJ helps with US$100 for transportation.

The deadline is Aug. 10.
