Vacancy: Mongabay seeks staff writer [Southeast Asia]

Experienced environmental journalists can apply for this remote position.

Mongabay is looking for a full-time staff writer.

The writer is expected to produce at least one story per week about conservation and environmental issues in Southeast Asia published in English.

Candidates must have three or more years of experience, strong analytical skills and extensive knowledge of environmental issues and/or forest conservation.

Exceptional fluency in English is required; language fluency in Burmese, Chinese, Khmer, Laotian, Thai, and/or Vietnamese is ideal.

The deadline is April 9.
