Visual journalism training covers climate change; seeks applicants [Latin America]

Journalists, designers and illustrators who work for Latin American media organizations can apply for this training in Spanish.

El Surti launches the third edition of Latinofráficas, a collaborative program that aims to promote visual journalism in Latin America.

The program, which will run August to November, will focus on visual content about climate change.

Participants will have access to mentorship and practical sessions by the El Surti team and classes with international professionals in visual storytelling. Selected candidates will also receive US$1,000 to support their work.

The deadline is Aug. 4.
